I am not from this area and this place seems to be the only Indian restaurant around. One has to be desperate for Indian food to go here. The management here clearly not up to or know how to professionally run a restaurant.
THE BEST EVER. I’m Indian/Pakistani and I’ve never had this kind of Indian food anywhere. Also the staff is great. Compliments to the chef!!!
Fantastic little restaurant. The staff was extremely courteous and polite. The setting was nice and quiet, prices are very affordable, and the quality of food and flavors were unmatched. Tandoor Palace has some of the BEST Indian food I have ever tasted. Their menu is simple but the food is unreal. I highly recommend Tandoor Palace over other food options in the Poconos.
Decent Indian food--best in the Pocono's for sure. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars but I'm comparing them to Indian Food I've eaten across the country. Only advice is if you like it really spicy, tell them "Indian Hot".
Fantastic Indian food served in a historically old train coach. Fast, friendly wait staff. Semi pricey, but all Indian food is. The preparation is what you spend your money on. Enjoy a fine meal tonight with your SO
Cannot speak to the food here, did not stay for that. Walked in with my family around 7:30pm. Was not greeted by anyone, then got the attention of an employee who asked us to wait in the lobby and he would call us when table is ready. The person then just went behind the bar and started making drinks. Saw another couple walk in behind us and saw them wait around to get someone to help them. Had to get another persons attention before we could get seated. The place just seemed disorganized and employees weren’t sure who was supposed to do what. After being seated, the waitress came over and informed us that kitchen is backed up so we would have to wait more than 30 mins if we ordered food, otherwise buffet would be the only choice. Very disappointing given that the place was not very full. Checked the buffet only to find poor vegetarian choices and some dishes near empty. We lost our patience with this place and left for another restaurant.
