The park is fairly new and the staff were excellent and attentive. They made our stay truly enjoyable. All facilities were clean and safe to use. There always seemed to be a lifeguard within 10 feet and my children were able to roam and enjoy the park on their terms. Rooms were also well maintained and stocked with fresh towels, coffee, etc. Beds were a bit too soft for my liking, but comfortable nonetheless. Can't wait to visit again.
Camelback lodge & water park was our mini vacation from the cold weather in Virginia. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly & helpful. The water park was fun we really loved the Venus flytrap ride & the the little kids play area. Imagine 4 20-30 something year olds playing in the kids pirate boat area. (Yea that was us.) We ended our mini getaway with snow tubing. We had a great time racing one another. Definitely would come back.
The best mini vacation. And we are two adults. We were running up the stairs in aquatopia before we even catch our breath to take the next ride on the tube water sliders.. amazing and tons of fun.. people are nice. And we enjoyed our day completely. It is so worth. I recommend it to anyone who can handle some thrill and some beach like relaxation at the same place..
The ski resort was amazing. I loved the slopes. The lifts are really fast and there little to no delay. It doesn't stop spontaneously in between as it would in other resorts. The water park was nice but the water was really weird. I don't know what chemical was used but it wasn't chlorine and it tasted disgusting. But overall I liked it.
Wonderful place to spend a mini vacation! Have been here several times and have a small complaint about our last visit. We had some issues checking in because we were 1 of 2 families checking in together. There was some confusion that we as the guest had to fix. Besides that it was a great stay! Clean rooms with the typical amenities. Water park was warm and clean with plenty of lifeguards. There were some rotating closure of rides but we didn't mind as in winter the park was not crowded at all. There are options to do many other things (arcade, skiing, snow tubing, etc. ) but were to busy in the water park to do anything else. There are even 2 restaurants on site so you never have to leave! Will continue to vacation here for years to come!
